Pounamu Gifts For Him
The pounamu forms most often chosen for men — the toki (adze) for strength and steady purpose, the hei matau (fish hook) for safe travel and provision, the tohorā (whale tail) for protection, and the manaia as guardian. Carved by hand in New Zealand, worn on a fitted cord.
